I love writing code and solving problems. I've been fortunate enough to do it as a career for over 20 years. I've written desktop apps, mobile apps and loads of web apps. I've written front-end code, back-end code and the code in the middle that joins it all up. I've designed platforms at a high-level and then I've got stuck into the detail. I've worked in banks and I've worked in start-ups. I've worked in start-ups within banks. I've been a consultant and I've been in sales and I've been in the back room with my headphones on hacking away. I've started my own business, I've sold my own business. Mostly though, I've been lucky.
