Provided Network on Chip (NoC) interconnect IP to improve time to market, performance, power consumption and die size of large scale system on chip (SoC) devices for consumer, mobile, communications, automotive and other applications. Worked to develop new accounts like Freescale, Avago, Broadcom, AMD, Apple, and Cisco. Early exit due to successful acquisition of Arteris by Qualcomm.

Focused on delivering connectivity solutions that enable the proliferation of data in automobiles, consumer devices, PCs and other applications. SMSC's feature-rich products drive a number of industry standards and include USB, video processors, MOST® automotive networking, wireless audio, embedded system controllers, ethernet processors, sensors and analog solutions. Developed the western area business over 10x in revenue during tenure.• Led team to strategic design-ins with Apple, HP, Microsoft, Google, Logitech, and Cisco.• Won a significant reference design partnerships with Nvidia and Qualcomm.

Provided complex DSP and mixed-signal VLSI solutions for use in high-speed communication systems. Sold devices for the network and communications industries including optical modules, SONET physical layer devices, framer mappers, and pointer processors, fiber channel, network processors, backplane transceivers, packet switch fabrics, Ethernet MAC and switches, SerDes, and optical analog amplifiers.• Grew Cisco business from zero to the largest world wide account at VTSS.• Key accounts included Cisco, Agilent, Ascend, JDSU, Sun, Nortel, Finisar, Opnext, Juniper, and Extreme Networks.

Developed new strategic accounts for low power flash and anti-fuse based FPGA IC devices serving all markets including communications and high reliability aerospace markets.• Won first Actel design opportunities at Cisco and Ascend Communications (Lucent), leveraging prior relationships there. Other direct key accounts included 3Com, Compaq, and HP. • Managed and trained Actel’s direct and indirect FAEs in the Western Territory providing hardware and software tool training and support.

• Pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Samsung ASIC products North America. • Responsibilities included feasibility studies, customer presentations on design flow and methodology, pre-route and post-route design verification using Synopsys, Verilog, Viewlogic and Samsung Asic Tools, debugging design issues, running simulations, power analysis, fault-grading, and test vector conversion.
