George Guttroff is a seasoned senior executive with over twenty-five years of strategic and operational leadership, primarily in the global medical/dental device marketplace. He is recognized as an inspirational and highly ethical leader with a passion for growth - growth of the business, the team, and each individual team member. As CEO, President, GM and Board Member, he has been a consistent driver of accelerated growth by providing organizations with strategic vision, executive mentoring, business development expertise, and an operational focus on process. George has served as a Board Member and/or Corporate Officer for various entities over his career including Ortho Organizers, Ortho Technologies, ACE Surgical Supply Company. and Southern Anesthesia Surgical and Supply.In his most recent position as Global Dental Specialties Group President for Henry Schein, Inc., Mr. Guttroff was responsible for the corporation’s portfolio of businesses competing in the specialty segments of dentistry – primarily oral surgery, periodontics, implants, biologics, orthodontics, emergency drugs and compliance. In addition to his primary roles of P&L oversight, strategy development, and corporate alignment for each of the business units, George led multiple acquisitions, mergers and integrations for this group. With the creative formation of the Surgical Solutions Business Unit, George was able to align and leverage various assets within the entire corporation to establish new channels of distribution for the group.George's early career took a Sales and Marketing track with various Fortune 500 companies. Having achieved significant accomplishments and career growth, Mr. Guttroff left the world of publicly owned corporations and partnered with private equity to purchase Ortho Organizers, a leading manufacturer of orthodontic products. George quickly restructured the organization, recruited a new management team, and relocated the facility to its current location in Carlsbad CA. After a few years of accelerated growth, including the profitable acquisition and integration of ClassOne Orthodontics, George was able to successfully guide the business development process resulting in the sale of Ortho Organizers to Henry Schein, Inc. Post-acquisition, Mr. Guttroff was asked to lead its newly formed Global Dental Specialties Group, where he served as President for over a decade.George has been profiled in The San Diego Union Tribune, North County Times, Orthodontic Products Magazine, Sport Diver Magazine and quoted in various business related articles.
