Masters student at University of Birmingham, studying Cognitive Neuroimaging and Data Science, with a passion for research and using data to answer complex issues and provide insightful next steps. This interest was sparked by my BSc in Psychology at Nottingham Trent University - which first gave me the opportunity to collect, cleanse, analyse and visualise data using various tools.Currently studying full-time masters course, but during gap year travelled solo around Europe and Asia - encouraging development of initiative and adaptability. Also completed a 12-week intensive Data Technician course with JustIT equipping me with a range of new skills in programmes such as Power BI, Access, Azure, Python, and SQL, while strengthening previous skills in R and Excel. As a result, working on portfolio while studying, to showcase the skills learnt from the bootcamp, while building on these through my masters.Worked in customer service jobs across a number of companies - currently working for Chilled Pubs Ltd as a Waiter and Bartender which drives me to use my teamwork, time-management and problem solving skills. Also gained consultancy experience through project undertaken with local charity during my undergraduate degree, whereby I presented findings and solutions to stakeholders.
