As a Design Engineer my role at AVI is to provide customers and sales representatives with fully designed audio, video, audiovisual, and presentation systems. I assist in selection or review of standard and custom products and services proposed by sales representatives, and integration of these products and services to meet the customer’s application. After a successful integration or during challenging/advanced integrations I provide technical resources for programming and troubleshooting. I will also interface with other engineers and manufacturers directly to provide the best solutions for our customers and end users.

Design and implement programming for the various digital signal processors used. Interface with the owner, end user, to conduct training to ensure a smooth transition to full system utilization. Continually enhancing skill sets with ongoing manufacturer training and professional certification.

· Interfaced with consultants, engineers, architects, and end users to design advanced sound, production, video, room acoustics, and control systems. Implement budget considerations, and oversee project timelines. Produce project documentation including technical specifications, project drawings and systems layouts, project completion and testing results. Initiate field changes and redesign as construction conditions deem necessary. Develop training programs and documentation used in educational settings for both specific system information and the industry technology in general. Expanded the corporate market with the integration of new technologies and processes.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota Area

· Responsible for overseeing teams of installation technicians on construction projects. Designing sound systems for specific venues and uses conforming to budget and timeline limitations. Assisted industry leading companies (BOSE Corp) to develop new technologies and products.
