Killing Poe (www.KillingPoe.com) is a college comedy that unfolds like many of Edgar Allan Poe's stories. The film follows five students in a class on Poe who share the plight of suffering under their lecherous professor, Dr. Lynch. When the students have had enough, they hatch a plan to teach Lynch a lesson. But their "simple plan" spirals out of control in true Poe-style. Beneath the surface of the film's comedic trappings is a look at the clarity one experiences when realizing that life as you know it has reached an end.In 2015, Killing Poe premiered at several festivals across the country, including the St. Lawrence International Film Festival and the Chicago Comedy Film Festival.
