• Assisted the Treasurer in the direction and management of the Bank’s Treasury activities. • High-profile management position accountable for overseeing the bank’s daily cash position, assisting with the investment portfolio, collateral management, liability pricing, procurement of wholesale funding, balance sheet and asset liability management. • Developed and executed funding strategies using non-customer sources of funds. Ensured that, within a prudent liquidity risk management framework emphasizing safety and diversification, funding costs were minimized. These duties included, but were not limited to acquisition of funding, maintenance of liquidity levels, contingency liquidity planning, hedging, management of counterparty relationships and pricing. • Involved in the management of the bank’s investment portfolio and collateral positions. Advising on investment strategies, executing trades, settlement of transactions, portfolio review, credit analysis and collateral placements.
