In 1998 I left my job at the Guinness Group and founded Food Focus providing consulting and training services to the Irish food sector. During this time, I worked with many food companies, Enterprise Ireland, BIM and FAS developing the capability of the Irish food sector. In 2010 I founded Safefood360 and with the help of an amazing team, we acquired contracts with major global food companies in five continents with 1000’s of daily users of our cloud-based compliance, data and analytics platform. I successfully exited in 2020 following the acquisition of the business by a major global life sciences company. For 15 years I lectured at MSc level at the Technological University Dublin. I lectured specifically on risk assessment, risk planning, exposure assessment and data models and tools. I am now working on the foundations of my next venture CONFIG LS.
