Attorneys in the White River, Mpumalanga office.Specializing in human rights and/or public-interest law with an emphasis on administrative actions, information access, labour issues, health matters and environmental impacts. George is primarily a litigator often engaged in precedent setting cases, but does from time to time become involved in out of court discussions about important public interest issues.Qualified in a variety of additional non-legal disciplines, including science, medicine, engineering and social studies, George generally brings a multidisciplinary approach to each of the matters he is involved with and is typically able to identify where necessary knowledge can be sourced from if he does not already possess said knowledge. An alumni of the University of Cape Town, Rhodes University and the University of the Witwatersrand, George is still continuing his postgraduate studies with no view to ever stop learning or a view to confine himself to a single discipline.George is the son of Dr Rhett S. Kahn and Janet G. Kahn, former political anti-apartheid activists and current occupational health and safety activists. George grew up in the northern Free State in the heart of the gold mining industry, spent the decade of his university studies in the Cape, started working in Johannesburg during the historic Silicosis Class Action matter and now resides in White River since 2018.
