As a program director with Communitas Supportive care society my focus has been on the following projects. - Re-envisioning the current Social Enterprise ventures of Communitas so as to focus on the end goal of employment for all abilities. - Spearheading the Social Enterprise Think Tank (SETT) group with the mandate to add a brand new social enterprise business line by the year 2018. - Restructuring policies and developing risk management strategies for the Communitas Home-share team with a focus on developing team dynamics and internal capacity development.

My time at VCH was critical to the development of my current marketing and business strategy skills. Apart from developing cases and notes to support various business strategies, the majority of my success was achieved by streamlining the flow of information, getting relevant stakeholders involved and setting and outlining goals. I was able to integrate with the existing team at VCH and balance the fine line between being an external consultant and advocating positive structural goals. Major achievements• Created provision for 657 additional medical imaging procedures, by process improvements.• Identified $11,000 in yearly savings by proposing a case for the utilization of registration kiosks during patient registration.• Organized key stakeholder meetings, to initiate dialogue and share information. These meetings were key to the successful proposal of kiosk utilization. • Spearheaded a proposal for the replacement of multi-million dollar medical equipment.Vancouver Coastal health is a world-class innovator in medical care, research and training. VCH provides medical services to 13 hospitals in BC. Some of the major services provided are medical imaging, mental health and hospital care.

The experience that I gained working for a not for profit like BTCEA was invaluable. Developing a marketing plan for a product that has very limited funding was challenging to say the least. I was able to utilize key techniques, such as, primary and secondary data research methods, excel models and cost-benefit analysis to successfully draft a marketing plan for the company.Major achievements:• Developed a marketing plan for BTCEA’s sustainability focused teaching material. • Researched and analyzed market trends, competition and distribution channels. This allowed for a streamlining of BTCEA’s marketing strategy.• Liaised with ministry education officials in different provinces to help identify nation wide expansion and also introduction into the US.Be the Change Earth Alliance, (BTCEA) Vancouver. BTCEA is a Canadian charitable organization founded in 2005 focused on the development of a citizen engagement program to support environmental, social and personal behavior changes in community, the workplace, and in schools.

Succeeding in the insurance world is dependent on a clear understanding of the relationship you initiate, maintain and sustain with your customers. As a team lead with the member services department at Sterling Life insurance, my strategy was based on relationship management with not just customers but also employees that I managed. My job revolved around motivating maximum quality output from my team and at the same time ensuring that our customers and health care providers were looked after. Major achievements:• Mentored team members using analysis from weekly quality audit reports to help them improve their communication skills and quality of calls.• Actively trained new recruits and facilitated regular training programs.• Spearheaded an incentive program to improve call times and call abandon rates to a star score of 3, call time of less than 300 seconds and call abandon rate less than 2%. These statistics enabled the company to achieve US Govt. regulations for the year 2011-2012.• Improved vendor and customer relationships through active participation in focus groups. Northwest Computers was a locally owned computer sales and repair store that operated out of Bellingham, WA, USA. NW Computers specialized in providing software and hardware solutions to individual and corporate accounts.• Earned a promotion to “Returns Manager” following top sales associate standing from July – October of 2006.• Generated more than $55,000 in revenue by launching “Operation restore” by negotiating with vendors to reduce a vast store of dead inventory. • Reduced inventory hold times and costs by 30% by remapping and reworking company’s return process to better streamline our policy with vendor policies.• Improved replacement lead-time by 60% (reduction from 5 to 3 days) by coordinating with the distribution center to implement same day returns.
