George is a MSc Computer Science student who is very passionate about learning new things. From Machine Learning to Compilers and Data Science, George has studied a bit of everything, always developing projects to practice and apply the new concepts learned. His main interests are in the Information Security field and High-Performance Computing. He developed an undergraduate research on Post Quantum Cryptography, and an undergraduate thesis on Blockchain. As of now, he's studying parallel programing, and High-Performance Computing for his MSc.His major projects so far are Miaudote, MC536 & Chill, and the SABER algorithm optimization for ARM Cortex-M0+ devices. Most of his projects are group projects, in which he’s very good at coordinating people and often assumes a leadership role. He’s always doing his best to get things done and he won’t stop until he feels like all the problems are solved. He enjoys when he can make a project (or contribute to one) that solves real life problems.George is currently working at Gorila Invest as a Backend Developer. There, he has been learning about investments and applying his knowledge on Python and APIs to make the bridge between costumer support and the backend through solutions developed along with his team. Also, he helps develop integrations between brokers and the Gorila systems.
