Administration of the Secretariat of TC82 on Solar Photovoltaic Energy Systems▫ Formal conduit for all communications between TC82 and the IEC central office in Geneva, Switzerland. TC82 consists of five working groups, each targeted on different aspects of PV, as well as two joint working groups collaborating with other IEC technical committees.▫ Presently managing the formation of a new working group on solar cells.▫ Working with several other technical committees and the IEC Conformity Assessment Board (CAB) to establish a new system for assessment of renewable energy projects (IEC-RE). This new system will provide assurance to investors and other stakeholders regarding the “bankability” of projects in the solar, wind and marine energy industries.
