Member of the Executive team. Responsible for Wyss Center's innovation, research and development efforts in the field of Neurotechnology, such as Brain Monitoring, Brain Computer Interfaces, Neuromodulation and Neural Computation, with a focus on translation from early stage concepts to human benefit and further commercialization.

Lead a center’s flagship program, EPIOS™ sub-scalp brain monitoring system, that evolved from an initial idea to a clinical stage start-up company. This is a minimally-invasive implantable device system, to improve the lives of people with nervous system disorders such as epilepsy, tinnitus and stroke.

Lead the development of innovative eHealth platforms of connected medical devices and digital applications and prepared their launch to the worldwide market (CE-mark, FDA, ISO13485, IEC62304). Co-inventor of MSdialog (for Multiple Sclerosis), Easypod Connect (for Growth Hormone Deficiency) and of a medical device connection station designed to wirelessly transfer medical data from a drug delivery system to the cloud.Widely recognized for his expertise and professional skills. In 2015, awarded with a Merck award for his work in MSdialog, a first-of-its-kind, digital medical device platform.

Headed the Software Function in the Medical Devices Department. Responsible for on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of projects. Established the architecture of digital products. Coordinated V&V activities.

Supported the researchers of Barcelona Supercomputing Center in a project about the efficient handling of Large Matrices on High Parallel Computing Systems. Programming under Unix, with C and Perl.

Developed an intranet database application for the management of the inventory (Hardware and Software Units) of the IT Department.
