LUCKY DIP is a bi-monthly club night at Dalston Superstore championing emerging musical and performing talent, in collaboration with HUB16. LUCKY DIP also takes place at various locations for special one-off events.

Situated within the Schools and Teachers team at Tate, a large proportion of my duties in this role revolve around booking school groups in for visits at both Tate Modern and Tate Britain. More recently, this has meant also being actively involved in the bookings of school groups that took part in the Steve McQueen Year 3 project.In addition to school bookings, my role as Schools Assistant also provides many opportunities to assist with programme development, as well as offering logistical support for the various events that take place at Tate, supporting both students and teachers from all around the country in having the most impactful experience possible, in our galleries.This combination of day-to-day communication with a large number of teachers, with the developmental aspects of informing programming allows me to obtain an well-informed, complex understanding of how the needs of teaching staff across the UK can be met by such a large institution such as Tate.

As part of the Young Freelancer programme at the London Transport Museum, I am involved with a number of short and long-term projects which generally focus on education within a cultural and heritage context, for a number of varying audiences. The programme provides opportunities to develop my skills in project development, management and delivery, as well as operating as a freelancer within the museum and heritage sector.

As part of the The Young Curator programme at The Barbican, I work with archivists, curators and mentors from across Barbican and the Guildhall School to explore the archive, working with others to create and commission new work that responds to the archive.
