Worked in CWI Software Analysis and Transformation group as a research intern. My MSc thesis involves interfacing a functional programming language (Rascal) with an object-oriented Java API. We aimed to make Rascal capable of importing and representing MS Office documents in a tree structure (ADT) using an existing java implemented API. My research approach involved static code analysis using Rascal’s tools, code generation and code visualization. The final outcome was an API which RASCAL programmers can use to import and analyse facts from MS Office documents. Also, the source code can be used to analyse other Java API's and automatically (in most occasions) generate the required interfacing code to work with RASCAL.

Beside my duties as a reserve officer in a Greek Army Camp, I got experienced with Network Administration and Network Security. Some of the activities were setting up/administering/maintaining Windows Server 2003, scheduling and applying safety policies and also other related activities.Other Activities:Deployed/parametrized a repository for learning materials using ILIAS Learning Management System.Co-developed and maintained the camp website using Active3 CMS
