Currently managing the building and implementation of software systems for SGA Group, a tier-one security organization with a footprint in 3 countries in East Africa.Key projects include: Conceptualization, design, development and rollout of SGA's digital cash management system used in Kenya and Uganda and soon to be deployed in Tanzania. My role as solution architect and project manager for the exercise allowed the creation of the multi-faceted application that directly affects approximately 500 field and desk-based users, and 1500 customers and branches. The solution includes integration with third party logistics and financial systems, security hardware and handheld terminals.Design and orchestration of the development and integration of a vending and provisioning system for SGA's Home Security Solution, a first of it's kind in the region. This is an application that allows for domestic alarm response services to be availed to SGA's customers through an end-to-end digital process. The solution comprises of a customer facing end that allows for sign up and payment, a back-end that manages automatic connection, suspension and re-connection of alarm services, automated invoicing and collection of recurring dues. The system has successfully eliminated the need for manual operations to a significant extent.
