I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Economics from the Naval Academy. After graduation, I went through the Nuclear training pipeline, which taught me how to learn and turn that knowledge into applicable skills in a fast-paced environment. I then spent 3 years working on a submarine in Hawaii, where I was an operations team lead for teams ranging from 8-40 people, which gave me a ton of experience delivering results leading both highly technical and cross-functional teams. After the submarine life, I worked as a Flag Secretary to an admiral, where I was able to take on the job of speech writer for the admiral and in this role I wrote 7 speeches for a wide varity of audiences.I started my post Navy career as an Oboarding Project Manager at People.ai. At People.ai I learned what it means to work at a fast paced startup and deliver customer joy. My favorite aspect of People.ai was the ability I was given to try out new solutions to the problems I encountered and that I was able to work cross functionally to assist my co-workers resolve their problems with a one team mentality.I’m passionate about customer relations, developing people, and building technology for a sustainable and safer world. My hobbies include hiking and camping in the numerous National Parks around Washington State, attending concerts, and cheering on the Seattle Sounders. EBFG!
