As a senior information executive with Aetna Information Services, I supported Aetna’s business strategy to be the global leader in empowering people to live healthier lives. My work environment included 1,000 production applications, 3,500 servers and 44,500 PCs. Our performance results were at least 5.5 Six-Sigma and CMMi Level 3. I was a member on the executive advisory and governance team that created a 3-year strategic plan that put Aetna at the forefront of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). We developed key business strategies that differentiated Aetna in the marketplace. We also ensured regulatory compliance by successfully leading ANSI 5010 and ICD-10 compliance initiatives.
