In addition, I am a Board Chair at Milton Hydro Distribution Inc., a for-profit organization owned by the municipality of Milton, Ontario, and an author of two books on retail leadership and relevance. I am passionate about staying ahead of the curve and embracing the challenges and opportunities of the new economy. There are a plethora of concepts about the future of retail and yet even the best online retailers have their limitations. In 2013 when I wrote this book I said everyone has a website however more need to turn them into selling machines. It is 2019 as I update this and very few are there yet. We can call it apocalypse, blame the internet and online retailers. Unfortunately, that doesn't change what needs change the type of leadership that will build the future of retail.
