• Early developer for the AllJoyn framework. AllJoyn is an open-source framework for the Internet of Things (IoT).• Helped develop the AllJoyn language bindings for the following languages: C, Java, JavaScript, and C# for the Unity 3D game engine.• Introduced C++ unit testing framework to the AllJoyn project. This has proved to be critical when verifying new code contributions.• Produced documentation that explains how to build and use AllJoyn.• Helped maintain the Klocwork Static analysis data base. I worked with developers to close thousands of potential issues identified.• Imported the About feature into the core AllJoyn framework. The About feature enables discovery of remote services for IoT. This included the API design testing and implementation.• Helped release over 12 versions of AllJoyn from version 1.8 (The first open source release of AllJoyn) to the current release version 15.09.• Played a major role in transitioning AllJoyn software from Qualcomm Connected Experiences Inc. to the Linux foundation and the AllSeen Alliance. This included updating documentation, copyright information, and code contributions for the transition. This includes the shared keystore, object based security, and Security 2.0 feature. Security 2.0 feature enables management of IoT application using access control lists. • Developed multiple sample and test applications that are shipped with each AllJoyn release.• Helped push AllJoyn into the Android for MSM code base hosted by the Code Aurora Forum. • Ported legacy driver code that was that was written for the Solaris operating system on a 32-bit architecture to work for the Solaris 10 operating system on a 64-bit architecture. • Updated obsolete device driver interfaces that were no longer supported.• Created install, emergency recovery, build instructions, system setup, and code change documents. The original code was legacy code and none of these documents existed prior to this.

• Helped develop the firmware for the MPX series of products. The MPX series of products is a wireless HDMI video extender that can wirelessly transmit HD video to as many as seven receivers at once up to 300 feet. • Maintained and updated the web-based user interface for current and new products. The user interface is accessible from any standards compliant web browser. The user interface used CGI scripts written in C++, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Prototype JavaScript Framework, LivePipe UI, script.aculo.us, and GNU gettext internationalization and localization library.• Designed a test program that manipulated image data by separating the image into luma and croma information, then compressed and encoded the images so they could be used on the wireless video extender.• Created documents with screen shots of all of the changes made when producing each product iteration. The changes included updates to all the help text presented to the user. These documents allowed marketing to ask for modifications and updates much sooner in the development process which reduced the time spent in testing, it also improved the quality of the help text presented in the user interface. • Ran all existing user interface code through PC-Lint, a static code analyzer, and removed many bugs including memory links, and uninitialized variables.
