Returning to Tennis Australia for my second time working on the AO, this role involves management of all marquees and highline structures, bespoke shipping container stacks, as well as HVAC and custom shaded structures for patron comfort. Starting earlier than my previous AO contract enables me to be more involved in the design process from the ideation phase of these projects and manage the delivery and financial aspects through to completion.My AO25 role also involves the managing on our 11 Site Supervisors who are responsible for being out on the ground in each area of the build and proactively spotting issues before they may arise and working together to ensure the bump-in and bump-out continues seamlessly. The key to success in this part of the role is to create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages people to thrive in their roles individually and as a team.

This role was a short term Site Manager contract role on the 2024 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix. My main responsibilities were to ensure the bump-in and bump-out of event infrastructure was undertaken according to plan and in a safe and effective manner. The role regularly involved problem-solving issues that arose across the site and working with the various stakeholders to maintain relationships and hit all of the key targets of the build and dismantle.

This role in the Infrastructure Delivery team involved contractor management on key elements of the AO24 such as highline structures, shaded areas and traffic management. The role involved coordinating site access movements, finding operational efficiencies and build quality. A highlight of this role was taking the lead on the build of the first ever Courtside Bar at the AO which transformed the way that patrons could watch tennis.

Working in the Operations team, this position involved leading a small team on a portfolio of caravan and camping expo’s which consistently delivered under budget while maximising patron and exhibitor satisfaction and streamlining work processes. At EQUITANA Melbourne 2022, I was the Venue Manager on the largest equestrian event in the Southern hemisphere with over 25,000 attendees over 4 days at the Melbourne Showgrounds.At Crankworx Cairns I was the Signage & Traffic Manager, along with a number of other support roles. This involved planning for and installation of all commercial and operational signage, communicating with the marketing and commercial departments and broadcast partners to showcase the Australian leg of the Crankworx World Tour to the world.

Working in the WorkCover department, this position involved working in a challenging, highly engaging legal environment dealing with stakeholders such as clients, doctors, solicitors, colleagues and barristers. Maintaining a high file load and managing time effectively, while ensuring attention to detail was vital to excelling in this role.
