In 2004, George served as co-director of the historic California Performance Review initiated by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. George led a top-to-bottom review of state government. George also served as a legislative consultant in the California State Legislature. To his credit is a wide range of high-profile legislative accomplishments, including the 1996 passage of California's version of Megan's Law, which has helped thousands of parents protect their children from dangerous sex offenders. George lives an active and full life. He is the bass player for Southern Blues Rock heavyweight STEEL WOOL. He is an avid skier, outdoorsmen and conservationist. Having completed a solo hike across the Sierras, two marathons and other irrational physic challenges, George believes in shattering self-imposed limits. He and his wife Aleshia live on beautiful Amelia Island, FL.
