About George Perantatos

Call me a hopeless optimist, but I believe that software is one of the most powerful forces in our world. I love to design and build software that delights people, is easy and fun to use, and solves problems.I've worked in product management since 2001 on projects ranging from productivity (SharePoint) to incubations (Office Labs) to entertainment (Xbox) to digital devices (Amazon) to real estate (Redfin). My calling card has been 0->1 products. I love turning an ambiguous goal into a concrete product plan and strategy and deliver it in partnership with design, research, and engineering. I also love managing people. I’ve been a manager since 2015 and have led teams as large as 9 with both ICs and managers. Coaching and growing people and working with them to ship great products is fun and rewarding. Outside of my day job, I enjoy mentoring early-career product managers and blogging about product management on http://Perantatos.com.
