I've experienced the adrenaline rush when the right people come together and pour their energy into turning a crazy idea into reality. I've also felt the bitter disappointment when a team is misaligned and the grind of work wears everyone out, making people check-out or turn to in-fighting. My approach to building businesses has become to find and connect people who are deeply passionate about what they do and create. I support them by helping to grow and solidify a culture that reinforces and amplifies that team's collective drive.My work at Khaos is to facilitate team building and experimentation in the development of new services and products that solve niched industry problems. Two companies that have come out of that process are Khaos Labs and Ramen Creative.Khaos Labs is an Independent Film Production Company dedicated to championing creatives and designing more human workflows compared to the gruelling industry practices that have standardized 16 hours days. We've finished our first feature film, American Dreamers which I produced and edited. We are currently working on a few short films and a documentary while working towards a slate of 4 feature films that will begin production in 2022.Ramen Creative is a full-service creative agency dedicated to servicing niched industries. Ramen Creative itself services early-stage startups, those whose last raise was Seed, Series A or Series B. Our second brand, Whisky Lane, services producers and crafters of fine food and drink located in the Okanagan.My personal north star is to always check if I'm being challenged on regular basis and surrounded by good people.I am always happy to discuss: brand and culture building, creating impactful marketing touchpoints, film production, and startups
