Duties included researching and writingdaily editorials and three personal columns per week, creating and supervising theJournal's board of contributing editors, members of the community recruited to write occasional op-eds for the newspaper and to meet monthly to critique its contents. I was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing in 1998.
