I'm an economist and applied research scientist devoted to discovering signals in noise. In my previous publications and work, I leveraged large datasets to answer questions in labor, inflation, and the general U.S. macroeconomy. Working in both private and public sectors has provided me the opportunity to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Besides my full-time career, I have been an adjunct professor at Salt Lake Community College since 2019. Teaching is not only a way to share my knowledge and passion for economics and analytics, but also an engaging way to learn from my students' questions and perspectives, which continuously enrich my understanding of the world.I believe that to effectively apply AI techniques, it is important to understand the underlying math and statistics. This is why I am currently deepening my knowledge and building projects through rigorous computer science courses. I am always open to discussing collaboration opportunities in economics, machine learning, or data visualization—feel free to reach out!
