I built a strong analytical background in engineering, physics, science and philosophy which I have bolstered through the intense course of study in Data Science and AI at Le Wagon.Conquering long-COVID, I completed an intensive full-time Data Science boot camp, demonstrating determination and eagerness to reinvent myself.This journey confirmed my passion for making sense of the world and using this understanding to make it a better place.I now turn my creative eye toward the endless opportunities for innovation and continual learning offered by Data Science and AI. My first project is developing a concerns register website for JAAG where people can raise concerns about how algorithms are used, particularly AI. The intention is to help guide suggestions on how the exciting evolution of big data can be guided in the most positive direction and we intend to use NLP to help analyse these concerns to detect common themes.I developed clear and engaging communication skills as a Science College student and honed these further as a lecturer. I excel in conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences and as a committed mentor, I often stayed late to offer additional support.My academic papers in Cellular Biology, Physics, Neuroscience, and Education exhibit my adaptability and curiosity as a problem solver who loves getting into details and can adapt quickly to unexpected challenges.My years in sales and customer service prior to university helped make me a well rounded individual, giving me an understanding of how businesses are run and teaching me how to be both empathetic and persuasive.I then volunteered as a teacher of homeless children in Madagascar before studying a year of Engineering and moving to Canada to get my degree in Physics, where I also learned to speak French.This international experience gave me confidence that I can adapt to the unexpected, showing me the value in considering different perspectives on how things should be done.My life has made me into a unique person who can work well in a team or independently.
