Developed embedded software in C++ for STM32 microcontrollers, creating a touchscreen interface for Eneco/Inventum's "Heatwinner/Spaarpomp" ventilation system. Responsibilities included coding touchscreen drivers, picture and font encoding/decoding (Python & C++), hardware drivers, and Modbus over RS485 drivers. Also contributed to CE-mark electronics norm-tests, including EMC, EMI, and safety.

Embedded programming in C for industrial wireless remote controls to allow more devices to be used within the same space simultaneously. Implementation of frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) on a Cypress MCU/SoC.

Converted antique phones into sensor packed audio-guide clients with Ethernet connectivity for the “Waterlinie museum” in The Netherlands. Python on Embedded Linux SBCs. Involved some cross-compiling of the Linux kernel.

Miniaturization of the AGE reader device into a hand-held version in a collaboration with a famous Japanese electronics brand. I re-designed the optics sensor PCB, wrote the firmware (C++), did hardware testing and wrote a Desktop application for the read-out of this USB device.

Graduation project; designing and developing an autonomous ground-vehicle to compete against other teams in the Robochallenge 2007.Main tasks: responsible for the design of the system accross a multidiciplinairy team of people as well as project planning in the starting phase of the project.
