Since 2005 I have worked in several SAP implementations as an ABAP developer and analyst (e.g. Hellenic Defense Systems S.A., Alfa-Beta Vassilopoulos S.A., Landis+Gyr A.G., Varvaressos S.A., Evrochartiki S.A., DEMO S.A., Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry, YouTravel.com, PricewaterhouseCoopers' greek branch, Bank of Greece, AGET Heracles, CCHBC's SAP Wave 2).Moreover, since early 2014 I have been acquiring experience as a SAP Business Warehouse consultant; I have undertaken both implementation and support projects.Additionally, I have been involved both in Document Management implementations (e.g. PwC invoice archiving, DEMO S.A. document related to production/quality/etc procedures approving/archiving) and SAP BPC projects. I have designed and implemented such solution for AGET Heracles (reporting and controlling), Athens Stock Exchange (planning & reporting) and TEMES (liquidity planning, reporting).During my involvement in SAP projects I have performed analysis and design, customisation and development, and have trained both key-users and end-users.

While carrying out my postgraduate studies at the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete.During that time my research focused on semantic web, more specifically on issues related to XML, RDF, query optimisation/reformulation.I have had five papers presented and/or appearing in journals and/or the proceedings of semantic web related conferences ( http://www.informatik.uni-trier.de/~ley/db/indices/a-tree/s/Serfiotis:Giorgos.html ).I was a member of the team that developped the ICS-FORTH Semantic Web Integration Middleware (SWIM).
