They told me that starting your own business is impossible.It made me sooo mad 😡I've always thought it's doable if you make the appropriate steps. I then began looking around...As i was always torn between management (which suits my personality) and software development (my field of interest) I was thinking i could maybe combine those two. So i went all in ...As a result of the connections I've made over the years, I was able to put together an incredible team of developers to work on corporate software, and when the time was perfect, RedTech was born 😎We help your organization with exceptional enterprise software, specifically in the medical and energy industries. In addition to creating our own products, we also operate as an external contractor.What did i do:Secured multiple software projects as our team's business developer. As a CMO, I expanded our brand, which led to new projects. Delivered enterprise apps using Spring and .NET Core.

Microsoft rejected me after i did an incredible interview. I was torn 🥲Everything i've worked for seemed to be for nothing since i couldn't get into one of these huge corporations.A couple of weeks later, I began working at Algotech. I won't lie; this seemed like settling at the time.I was sooooo wrong. When I observed the proper management practices of a successful local business, my perspective instantly changed.That gave me courage and the impression "Hey, these guys are running a company so damn well, everything is perfect here."So wondered if I could do the same thing. So, over the following few months, I examined everything they did in an effort to learn as much as possible on business dev :)If it wasn't for Algotech and all the amazing people there i would've never had the idea to start RedTech.Life can be unpredictable sometimes :)What did i do as dev?:Developed applicative software through day-to-day mentorship.Made APIs using Spring and Spring Boot, optimizing database queries for MSSQL. Using Avaya Orchestration Designer, I implemented various contact center solutions that were put into production and satisfied clients' needs.
