I was one of the founding members of the Microsoft Emerging Business Team; launching the BizSpark startup program. I identified and fostered relations with “unicorns” aka high potential early stage SaaS startups for development into Microsoft ecosystem partners. I also gathered BizSpark feedback to assess areas of opportunity and develop improvements to processes, strategies, and support. My key accomplishments include:■ I lead a business proposal service bureau on behalf of Microsoft SLT, business and engineering groups; reviewing 2K+ proposals annually from new and existing partners seeking acquisition, investment, or partnership with Microsoft. ■ I developed and integrated proposal review standards to align new partners with short- and long-term business goals and eliminate IP mishandling. ■ I increased BizSpark Program reach by recruiting key investors, angels, and incubators as network partners. ■ I orchestrated several engagements resulting in strategic alliances and acquisitions; including, Yammer, StorSimple, Tact, and DocuSign..
