• Designed a culturally sensitive and contextually feasible research project on intimate partner violence among African immigrant in Washington DC metro area; prepared interview guides, recruited and/or interviewed subjects, collected, interpreted, synthesized and analyzed data, summarized findings, conducted secondary research and wrote reports. • Conducted individual research on intimate partner violence associated with African women’s educational levels. • Conducted a desk review on gender-based violence as a part of a broader study titled: “Exploring the intersection of violence against women and girls (VAWG) with post-conflict state-building and peacebuilding processes” A comparative study involving Nepal, Sierra Leone, and South Soudan• Conducted programs’ review related to women and refugees focusing on prevention and response to GBV in multiple countries including Uganda, Kenya, Congo, DRC, Afghanistan, Liberia, Jordan, and Soudan. Highlighted evidence and key lessons learned• Contributed to drafting a manual on conducting research, monitoring, and evaluation for refugee populations in conflict and post-conflict settings. With toolkit and guidelines drawn upon the best practices for research on GBV globally developed by the WHO, UN, USAIDS, PATH, IRC, Child Fund and other non-profit organizations as well as the experiences of GWI researchers and other global experts in research, GBV and M&E in conflict and post-conflict settings. • Served as an evaluator for The Communications X-Change Awards. Contributing to Narrowing down 90 submissions to 18 for the judges to evaluate. • Served as a judge at GW research day. Representing GWI to score the participants in the Women's Rights and Gender Equality category. • Managed an online research database• Translated documents from English to French

Community services and DC jail returning citizens empowerment program

- Taught a set of programs including nutrition, hygiene, human reproduction, microbiology and infectious disease prevention.-Sponsored several School associations including the Red Cross, the Friends of Nature Club, Health Club, and Cameroon Scientist women’s Association (FESCICA); trained 40-50 rescuers and HIV/aids peer educators every year and served as member of the national HIV/AIDS Committee for five years. - 8 years' experience as discipline mistress (controlling more than two thousand students and over one hundred teachers every year)-3 years' experience as vice principal (School academic supervisor)

I actively contributed to the organization of peasant associations, conducting need assessments, and leading the planning and implementation of poverty reduction projects. These projects covered various areas, including water supply, agricultural production, and the establishment of community health centers.Additionally, I played a significant role in providing technical advice to decision-makers and raising awareness about critical development issues. This work involved collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs on food security matters in decentralized territorial communities.I also worked in partnership with UNDP and the Dschang urban council, conducting community needs assessments to address specific challenges in the area. Moreover, I collaborated with the French cooperation on youth awareness programs centered around "science contribution to the development."

My focus was on building the capacity of young underprivileged girls by strengthening their leadership skills, which, in turn, enhances their retention in school and empowers them to create a better future.I was actively involved in supporting women and girls in overcoming life's challenges, particularly those related to gender-based violence. This support involved empowering them with knowledge and financial resources, as well as providing essential moral and social support.
