I actually helped to set up the roles and responsibilities of my Credit Analyst position at Johnson Controls after it acquired another company. This position within Johnson Controls did not exist prior to the acquisition. As part of the acquisition I flew to Plano, TX and met with the credit and finance departments to learn the business and then helped to bring the new processes to Milwaukee. I was also responsible for ensuring technicians' payrolls were correct, processing credit card payments on a daily basis, resolving accounts receivable issues, managing revenue reports and handling technician IT issues. My proudest moment was when I was selected to pilot a new Materials Handling position which did not exist at the time within our National Service division.
