I am a bit of a talker, which is probably why I did well in the news media industry. I started as a reporter, but over the years added Rebranding, Communications, Social Media Management and Marketing to my quiver of skills, In my current role as Marketing Communications Manager, I execute a variety of roles within the marketing department specifically, communication, branding, lead generation and strategy. I planned and largely designed the launch of the new company website which maximized SEO and reinforced the organization's brand. The site recorded a 64% increase in visits over the previous year. I also want to emphasis my skill in research and analysis of large set of data using analytical tools to find weak spots and strengthen communication strategies. Solutions are then created, based on that data, to implement a superior approach to connect with the public.Another key area that I focus on a regular basis is strategic communications. By executing realistic and timesensitive communication strategies, I help my company improve relations within and outside thecompany.I lay special emphasis on building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships, and oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.I would like to highlight my experience as a Social Media Manager with a special emphasis on communications, sales, and marketing. This experience enriched my skills in the creation and execution of media campaigns and advertisements that reached out to the public. Brochures and digital art were created to convey the communication strategies that were envisioned by the management and the social media department. I also gained extensive hands-on experience in sales, marketing, client care and customer management during my tenure at the Sherwood Park Eye Centre.As a senior reporter and editor, I developed strong writing, editing and communication skills. I have interacted with people belonging to various cultural backgrounds, and I consider my relationship with the multicultural society as my greatest strength. I speak, write and read three languages: English, Hindi, and Malayalam. I also speak Tamil.I am a trained photographer and videographer.
