I’m a highly experienced Senior Executive with a reputation for delivering key strategic initiatives and extensive experience in leading scientific staff in technically complex regulatory environments. I currently lead the Scientific Evaluation Branch of the TGA. My Branch approves applications to market biologicals and generic medicines in Australia. It also supports the decisions of the Medicines Regulation Division by providing expert scientific advice on the toxicology and pharmaceutical chemistry of therapeutic products and provides expertise in the biological sciences. I have extensive experience in representing the Government’s interests in technical fora in Australia and internationally and am highly regarded for my ability to facilitate cooperation and influenced the development of technical policy that progresses Australia’s interests. I hold a PhD in organic chemistry from the Australian National University’s Research School of Chemistry and am currently studying a gradate law degree at the Australian National University.
