I spent 12 years in the Royal Air Force working on Lightnings, Jaguars and a Ground Engine Test Facility running Adour engines. Of note, I have:• Changed the culture of the company’s testing processes, instigating systematic and rigorous testing processes and establishing clear channels of communication.• Developed and implemented a test strategy to cover 140 requirements, including the management of defects arising during testing and regression tests for systems.• Set up and maintained the Baggage Handling Facility to support the long term testing of the baggage scanner• Designed a strategy for ongoing maintenance and daily, weekly, monthly and yearly checks so that each situation can be appropriately managed.• Scoped environmental testing for the sales team to prove the capabilities of the machine to clients in different climates.• Introduced change to the organisation by rolling out a new process and tool. Lot of effort to introduce change and takes a lot of patience.• Taken a new technology andf pushed to far greater limits than attempted before.• Working through all of the errors to identify the equipment that is causing the problem and document what the service engineer has to change.• Testing all the configuration of system to allow users, service, admin and service engineers access to different areas of system• Managed a major Maintainability Demonstration to break the system down and transport it.
