I now provide complete and comprehensive evaluations of the impacts of new transportation facilities and services on communities. I do evaluations of all conceivable impacts of new transport facilities on neighborhoods singularly or combined. Communities that understand the neighborhood impacts of subway extensions, new airport terminals, or any kind of new transportation service, have a solid framework to negotiate their own improvements as trade-offs with the transportation operator(s). If a subway line extension is coming to a neighborhood bringing construction trucks and crews, and then discharging substantial volumes of people into buses or cars, a reasonable trade-off might for the community could be at least a new park, some playgrounds, or improved security at schools. The transportation provider would cover these costs over a 20-year period as a quid pro quo against the environmental impacts of the new transportation services.Response has been favorable: I've been able to check my recommendations for a current project against the actual results of previous projects, making adjustments to my current recommendations to closely mimic successful recommendations and strategies from previous projects.
