I enjoy challenges. In the past 36 years I have developed and refined skills that enable me to tackle any challenge. I have worked for independent shops where I have repaired everything from analog audio equipment, photocopier and facsimile, to the latest personal computer and printers, as well as some name brand servers. I have also served in the capacity of network administrator, data backup coordinator, anti virus coordinator, helpdesk analyst and software tester for a major corporation. I also have excellent listening skills. My latest duties included day to day operations in on-boarding and decommissioning network devices and servers into CBTS managed services as well as designing the templates to do so. Accomplishments •Created DOS scripts as part of a PC refresh; moving data from DOS only, Windows 3.1 and some Unix Pc’s to a new platform using Windows 95.•Developed and executed an operating system refresh for 400 + PC’s; upgrading from Windows 95 to Windows 98. I wrote DOS scripts to find, and upload customer data files to a server share with minimal down time to the end user. •Wrote documentation for non technical work force to carry out tasks that could not be automated, or scripted; also keeping end user down time to a minimum.•Created a usable network schematic for use with an upcoming network refresh.
