I am an attorney in the Dallas office of Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young LLP. I conduct litigation and docket management for several of the Firm’s major clients. My work encompasses motion practice, all facets of discovery and pre-trial work, mediation and settlement.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEFrom 1995-2001, I served as the Associate General Counsel for MCI Telecommunications. Along with three other attorneys, we developed and implemented MCI’s national policy for use of public rights-of-way. I was involved at every level from local permitting to lobbying legislatures and drafting proposed statutes for telecommunications land use. From 2001-2003, I was an associate in a national law firm in their telecommunications land use and regulatory practice.In 2003, I joined HPTY to conduct product liability, personal injury, and premises liability litigation and docket management. I have successfully resolved approximately 1500 state and federal court cases involving toxic tort claims, dramatically reducing litigation dockets for several clients. These cases were resolved through a combination of aggressive pre-trial work and negotiation and typically without paying claims. I have also represented Firm clients in cases involving employment law and real estate loan default.
