Called on city street departments, county road & bridge/transportation departments throughout Central Texas as well as TX DOT and primary road building contractors selling roadway marking products such as reflective markers, paint, glass beads, signage, adhesives and sign making materials. Great folks: Eddie, Jose, Linda, Nina, Shawn. (I still get my haircut at Nina's dad's barbershop JOE'S in San Marcos. Eddie Blakely is one of the top 3 nicest fellows I have worked with.

Jenna, Craig & Jeremy were a great team back in Scottsdale while I covered homebuilders in Texas and Georgia representing a simple yet very effective product, DBX-1000 dryer box.

After deciding to move out of Plano Texas we moved onto some property we owned in the Hill Country where I spent many months overseeing site work and home, I got back into Photographic Industry with this little San Marcos manufacturer. What a great product. While one may think this was a digital system - it was pure analog and in the hands of a professional photographer, real magic could be made with these systems. Worked with lots of photographers from around the country and had pretty good success selling systems and training seminars.

Hired, trained and oversaw inside and outside sales teams and demo artist. Most were more knowledgeable (initially) on the broadcast products and animation software and editing platforms we provided at the VAR than I was. While here and working with Bob Gillman (Owner) I proposed and we began our local Dallas version of national NAB tradeshow. This was a big hit with area organizations who couldn't make it to the national NAB tradeshow. Lots of fun, creative group, constantly changing product offerings,

After working freelance gigs (photo & video) I joined Total Color working for Jim Moss and his crew. Here I hooked up with one of my dearest friends and photographer Ray Hand. Jim Moss really wanted Ray's business. I recall telling Ray this but more importantly, I told Ray our friendship is far more important than business. Within a few days, we were processing film for Ray. Loved this job, enjoyed the people working there, especially Bob Dixon and Terry Davis. Began overseeing the front counter staff, then moved into outside sales and enjoyed great success setting multiple sales records. Promoted to GM and enjoyed the challenges (most) of managing the group. Had great support from Bob Dixon, Joe Horner (VP), Jim Madden (VP), Rex Jobe (Pres.)and others from The Color Place. :) Bob Dixon one of the top 3 nicest fellows to work with.

McLaglen (also DIRECTOR: Perry Mason, Rawhide, Shenandoah, Hellfighters (filmed in Houston area), Chisum, Cahill U.S. Marshal. One of only (2) Directors to have directed both John Wayne & Clint Eastwood. Met a young woman on this film that went on to become an actor: Jamie Lee Curtis.
