An organization of personal significance to me and my family, Brain Injury Services (BIS) serves more than 600 children, adults, and families each year who have suffered the life-altering effects of a brain injury. I'm proud to serve on the board of directors as BIS works to build the skills and confidence people with brain injuries need to lead fulfilling and productive lives.

Now is such an exciting time for ECS. We’re solving some of the most complex and mission-critical challenges for our customers across the public sector, defense, intelligence, and commercial industries with cutting-edge technologies and our nimble, entrepreneurial approach.As president of this rapidly growing advanced technology solutions company, I lead a talented group of more than 2,700 innovators who use technology in ways government and industry alike have never seen in order to make an impactful difference for our customers. We help our customers leverage technology in new ways, to bring new approaches to cloud deployments and digital modernization efforts, use artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist first responders in humanitarian and disaster recovery efforts — and more. It is an exciting time, indeed.

I joined ECS as chief strategy officer in 2011 and was promoted to the position of president and CEO in 2014. I work with the executive team and across all areas of the organization to architect a vision for growth and to position the right people, processes, and culture to ensure ECS continues to deliver excellent service, advanced technical solutions and above-market growth in the markets we address. ECS was acquired by ASGN in 2018. I lead ASGN’s public markets segment.

When I came on board as Vice President of Corporate Development, Stanley was a small, private information technology company with 20 employees and $2 million in revenue. After serving as Executive Vice President and eleven years later Stanley had grown to nearly 6,000 employees and more than $900 million in annual revenue when it was acquired by CGI Group in 2010.During my tenure, I drew on my experience in the Navy to grow a company that was entirely focused on a commitment to our core mission and values. From our executive teams, customer relations, and corporate development to business growth, strategic investments, and company strategy, our focus was on creating an organization and culture of value.

I began my U.S. Navy service working in a shipyard building the USS Albuquerque. Several tours of duty later, I was integrating Tomahawk cruise missiles into submarines. The experience forged in me a passion for the power of technology — as well as the commitment to something bigger than yourself, how to grow a team, the importance of standards and a mission, and how you as an individual need to support that. The experience helps inform my leadership style and approach to business to this day.
