Co-lead the Community Health pillar in support of organizational justice and economic wellbeing. We align organizational outcomes to the social movements of equity, justice, and sustainability. We position employees as the first line of community. Wellbeing is the center of wholeness where the development of whole people leads to whole communities and a whole planet. We believe in upstream systems change that starts with expanding mindsets, centering the voice of those furthest from justice, and structuring outcomes and collective impact that are shared and defined by inclusive participation in decision and choice-making.

New Creole facilitates the discovery channel for personal, business, and community growth and progress towards a more equitable and just society.New Creole is also growing the capacity of an inclusive social entrepreneurial ecosystem by guiding "by us, for us" social enterprises and programs toward success in organizational effectiveness, social policy development, marketing, capital readiness, and social impact. Building ecosystems to solve society's most complex problems, New Creole works to discover the mental modes that keep our communities from progressing by investigating approaches for entire systems, not just one platform or project. As the front facing unit that drives institutional effectiveness of an anchoring institution into South Puget Sound’s lowest resourced communities, my office worked with community stakeholders to develop agendas of whole person, civic wellbeing and ecological practices through collective experiential learning that advances participatory democracy in system liberation and sovereignty movements.Co-develop strategic learning opportunities of the Tacoma Anchor Network, the largest public-private partnership collaboration for systems change in South Puget Sound focusing on affordable housing, social value procurement, food systems, and workforce development of the Rainier watershed communities.Partnered with X4Impact to develop a pilot community accountability platform for systems building impact, aligning community agendas and Sustainability Development Goals to institutional effectiveness of anchoring institutions in higher education. In partnership with Pierce County Economic Development, PLU School of Business, and PLU Continuing Education, co-created the county's first business skills accelerator for small businesses targeting women, veterans, and BIPOC populations to increase diversity supply chain drivers and community wealth building. Co-produced PLU’s signature racial dialogue-to-action series, The People’s Gathering, the state’s largest grassroots critical consciousness conference (~500 attendees) in support of racial equity and justice in Washington businesses and government. Outcomes focus on developing critical action in anti-racism efforts in business and government. Co-developed food sovereignty programming with Medicine Creek tribes (Nisqually, Puyallup, Squaxin) in reconnecting to lost Salish foods (camas) after 170 years in an effort to sustain cultural and political salience and reduce health disparities.

As Berkeley's chief philanthropy officer for university scholarships and student programs, I lead a diverse team focused on raising financial support for targeted student populations (e.g. low-income, first-generation, undocumented, immigrants/refugees, LGBT, student veterans and underrepresented people of color, including Black and Indigenous) and out-of-the-classroom experiences that engage students in leadership development, community engagement, and cultural discovery. I facilitated strategic fundraising plans for addressing student health and wellbeing and I educated fundraising and corporate professionals on engaging diverse communities, how to address hot political issues with diplomacy, addressing corporate social responsibility with care, and assessing success in philanthropy through key performance indicators and outcome metrics.

Originate and innovative investment models to further UW"s goal in diversifying education and businesses that drive Washington's economy. Primary relationship manager for diverse communities to build trust and utilize UW as a platform for solutions: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, veterans, LGBT community, first-generation, and resource neglected populations. Developed key corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs for Seattle's leading businesses focused on diversity leading to $140M invested in community solutions. Here are a few the highlights of my CSR work:• Costco: Leverage vendor relationships to raise $3M annually for undergraduate diversity scholarships. In return, designed and implemented internships and externships of UW scholars to these businesses and hosted exclusive career exploration fairs • Safeco Insurance: Worked with Safeco’s independent insurance agents and product producers to mentor underrepresented minority business students and create internships & externships for their partners, many who did not have direct access to hiring diverse populations; • Wells Fargo of Washington: Capitalizing on Wells Fargo’s mandatory retirement of personal computers,worked with the company and the US Department of Education’s GEAR-UP to create Yakima Valley’s first technology hubs in 2003 so that migrant families and those on the Yakima (Yakama) Indian Reservation could access basic computing and internet services;• Boeing and Microsoft: I brought in corporate partners to support UW’s hackathon programs, provide STEM mentors to under-resourced student populations, and diversity scholarship support. • Enterprise Rent-A-Car: Brand engagement program through public service for Enterprise employees to co-host students in delivering culturally appropriate literacy and tech programming in Washington’s tribal communities

Developed the country's first full development team focused on diversity and equity fundraising focusing on approaches to society's biggest challenges impacting Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and lower-resource families around access to education, opportunity gap, economic and career development, nontraditional entry to education, and development of community growth with a focus on excluded and resource neglected populations.
