I have been practising law since 2005, acting on major projects in Australia, the Middle East and internationally. My expertise includes all aspects of real estate and hotel development, including acquisition, sale, leasing, corporate structuring, licensing, administration, branding and hotel management. In my previous roles as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, I was responsible for the legal affairs of group companies consisting of many major projects and other business entities held in respective portfolios. Having operated as the client of law firms for so many years, I have an advantage of understanding how a client views the external legal services provider and the type of legal support that is vital for companies. Acting in relation to assets in the Middle East, Australia, East Africa, Asia, Europe, United Kingdom and America, I have gained international experience across various sectors liaising with numerous company boards, shareholders and government entities.
