As part of my role at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, I fulfill the Secretariat functions for Canadian IGF. This includes:➣ Leading and coordinating the All-Hands Committee➣ Managing program design for Canadian IGF Talks and the full-day annual conference, ensuring it is a forum to discuss the most pressing issues in internet policy and promotes multistakeholderism➣ Overseeing Canadian IGF’s communications and marketing function➣ Fulfilling Canadian IGF’s duties as a national initiative of the global IGF, including feeding reports to the NRI community and IGF Secretariat

➣Researched key policy issues in Canada and abroad to write succinct, clear, understandable policy briefs and opinion pieces twice a month

➣Co-led the advocacy campaign, #DivestNow, resulting in a commitment by Carleton University to divest its funds from the fossil fuel industry and de-carbonize its portfolio. ➣Organized R&A team meetings, delegated tasks to team members, and collaborated with other leads to advance Climate Action Carleton's strategic priorities. ➣Liaised between the Direct Action Team and the Research and Advocacy Team to ensure that all communications for the #DivestNow campaign are strategically aligned to maximize reach, engagement, and impact. ➣Researched environmental policy and justice issues to create infographics and social media posts that reflect Climate Action Carleton's broader social mission.

➣Researched and assessed key developments in domestic and international telecommunications policy and internet governance to provide research and project support.➣Developed content, such as briefs, blogs, landscape analyses, reports, and reviewed colleagues' work to support CIRA's work and thought leadership strategy.➣Completed outreach to professionals and organizations with an interest in the Canadian Internet to advocate for the use of the IPT to support CIRA's efforts to help bridge Canada's digital divide.➣Fulfilled a variety of duties through the role of the Canadian Internet Governance Forum Secretariat, such as coordinating meetings between various government, private sector, and civil society professionals.

➣Responsible for the creation and visualization of the bi-weekly newsletter in order to engage and inform PAPM students, including but not limited to the editing of the Op-Ed section.➣Interviewed students and faculty within AKCESS with questions relating to the theme of the newsletter in order to incorporate a relatable and engaging segment for students.
