The Information Technology world is expanding by the second which can be very confronting for businesses to keep up with and for individuals to accommodate. I have experience within this industry and position however, what I, as a prospective employee, need from you is the ability to learn more every day. What I am captivated by is your internal growth paths, access to educational resources, and high levels of interpersonal communication throughout all levels of your company. I believe these attributes are what make a successful employee. Providing these resources quenches the thirst for more, whether that be knowledge within a specific area, practice and application of existing skills or development of expertise. Without an open mind within the Information Technology industry, I believe it would be an extremely difficult and rather frustrating situation. With the unprecedented growth of this industry, we must grow with it. I am fascinated by internal Cyber Hygiene regimes. Cyber Hygiene is usually not prioritized within companies as it can be incorporated through the usage of software applications such as Microsoft’s outlook. Outlook has built in anti-phishing software to help support users. This is a fantastic first step. When using multiple applications, with multiple employees over multiple locations, it is simply not enough. I look forward to sharing my Cyber Hygiene regimes and practices with you. I am passionate about mental health as I have Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Anxiety. I have taken years to understand how to work with my brain rather than against it. This means I work best with time pressured tasks as I flourish under pressure. Working with people and in groups is crucial to any company’s success as it increases morale through individual employees feeling heard and respected.
