I provide tailored support to organisations on programme design, strategy development, research, strategic influencing and grant-making. My technical expertise is in girls’ rights, meaningful youth participation and gender justice and I have extensive experience supporting organisations to work more meaningfully and respectfully with youth movements. • Led the implementation of Plan International’s ‘Powering the Movement’ strategy and grew the team to six people. Co-led the Girl and Youth Power + Action Hub, piloting Plan’s first feminist co-leadership space. • Oversaw the design and prototyping of girl- and youth-centred grant-making programmes including:- Equality Accelerator, which provides a resource hub, community, fund database and grant-making mechanism for girl and youth activists, developed through a participatory design process. - Plan’s first youth resourcing programme and influencing model- The Girls’ Fund, a collaborative fund with Purposeful and the Government of Ireland to move resources to girls and young feminists during Generation Equality. • Grants assessor for the Girls’ Fund and the West and Central Africa Youth Challenge Fund • Led a team that managed the Safer Cities for Girls and Champions of Change programmes as well as the youth advocacy component of the Girls Advocacy Alliance programme (GAA) / She Leads programme. This included the participatory evaluation of GAA.• Co-led the youth engagement and mobilisation strategy for the Girls Get Equal campaign • Managed an internal, global learning and development process. Provided technical advice to Plan offices across the federation on movement building, girl- and youth-led activism and youth partnerships. • Managed Plan’s partnerships with the With and for Girls Collective, the Global Resilience Fund and the Adolescent Girls Investment Plan coalition. With AGIP, co-led the participatory design of the girl and youth engagement strategy.• Led on global girl and youth advocacy including managing Plan’s girl and youth engagement strategy for the UN Generation Equality process.• Oversaw the development of the new digital platform for the Diverse and Empowered Girls: A Guide for Self-Organising. This was designed by girl + young feminist groups in 4 continents and is a practical tool for self-organising.

• Worked in the Peru office from December – March 2019 and advised on the development of the office’s youth engagement strategy• Led the development of Plan International’s first ever global girl- and youth-led collective action strategy • Built and managed a team of two people designing and piloting new initiatives including: Regional youth activism camps, youth network mapping tools and a flexible funding mechanism for youth activist groups• Co-designed the Girls Get Equal campaign and led the youth-led collective action and movement building component.• Managed the youth advocacy component of the Girls Advocacy Alliance programme, a 5-year advocacy and civil society strengthening programme in 10 countries• Coordinated youth advocacy in international accountability processes including Commission on the Status of Women• Provided technical advice and support across the global hub, regional offices, UN liaison offices and country offices.• Led on grant proposals and bid development for youth influencing and Girls Get Equal • Coordinated the learning and development process on youth influencing across Plan’s four regions.

• FRIDA - Young Feminist Fund: Developed the training programme and trainer's guide for FRIDA's accompaniment programme, which engages a group of companions to mentor different grantee groups in their feminist activism. • Plan International: o Led the development of a new gender transformative youth advocacy module for the Champions of Change programme implemented globally and in the UKo Managed Plan’s girl-centred advocacy and engagement strategy for Women Deliver 2016• Plan International UK: Supporting editor for the first ever State of Girls’ Rights in the UK report, which was launched in UK parliament in September 2016• Mercy Corps Europe: Provided project management services from July-September 2016• Co-led a scoping process to design a collective care, wellbeing and mentoring initiative for girls and women in the UK, including facilitating reflection space and insights workshops with adolescent girls.

• Project managed the Girl Declaration campaign and co-designed the accompanying influencing strategy • Supported the Investment Fund team to manage a portfolio of grants for girl-led advocacy programmes to influence the Sustainable Development Goals• Co-designed multi-sector influencing strategies for key global and national advocacy processes e.g. Ethiopia Girl Summit, Commission on the Status of Women and the Addis Financing for Development Conference.• Led on girl advocacy for the organisation. This included developing youth-friendly policy briefings, designing training workshops, and project managing delegations of girl activists• Led on the design and development of the first strategy and staff toolbox on girl engagement• Represented Nike Foundation in the Girl Declaration Joint Advocacy Group and inputted into the SDG indicators strategy and recommendations• Supported the design and execution of events and training workshops • Represented Nike Foundation | Girl Effect externally in the Gender and Development Network.

• Developed case files, reports and actions on the individuals at risk cases and thematic campaigns• Co-led on communications activities for the Central America coordinators team, including updating the social media sites and producing content for AIUK website, blogs and newsletter• Co-designed and delivered the Guatemala: No Going Back conference in May 2014• Led on members’ capacity-building, including supporting students to deliver a resolution at the 2014 AGM calling for increased campaigning on impunity. The resolution was carried overwhelmingly.

• Authored a report on corporate responsibility and partnerships to inform the advocacy strategy 
• Assisted the Head of Fundraising with the drafting of funding applications and interim reports. The organisation reported a 47% increase in funding in 2013. 
• Assisted in the planning and delivery of PBI’s annual gala event in May 2013.

• Provided advocacy support to age-disputed asylum seekers in detention centres and supported them in age assessments and meetings with solicitors• Led on the development of the 2012 statistics report for the Age Dispute Team and wrote a research paper on the treatment of child refugees in the EU

• Managed the Guatemala office, managing partnerships with two women’s cooperatives and a microfinance programme for women• Coordinated a team of volunteers with our partner organisations
• Led on all external and internal communications, including web-content and social media.
