• Led the complete cancer service line including outreach clinics for the major health system in northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Areas of responsibility included the Altru Cancer Center, a CoC accredited comprehensive community cancer center containing medical oncology, radiation oncology, linear accelerators, PET/CT, simulation, navigation, support services, cancer registry, research, palliative care, home health, hospice, pastoral care, and community awareness. Achieved 22% increase in volume thorough personal efforts at business development, marketing, and capital donations. • Improved corporate contribution of service line with implementation of revenue cycle audit and addition of missed revenue opportunities. Restructured cost centers to align with revenue. Worked in conjunction with previously hired consultants to assess all departments, right-size FTEs, enhance operational efficiencies, and outsource services to create a LEAN clinical operation with exceptional outcomes and high patient satisfaction.

• Redesigned the complete operation and marketing of the cancer service line for the division, including an outpatient oncology clinic, radiation therapy, cancer registry, community outreach, dedicated oncology inpatient unit and palliative care team, as well as coordinating business development and physician recruitment resulting in achieving a 99th percentile Press-Ganey rank for 10 consecutive years.• Led $4.7M capital project in first year of tenure, meeting all deadlines and coming in $.3M under budget. Directed a capital expansion of the oncology inpatient unit and support facilities in 2018. • Delivered an operating income of $.7M ahead of budget and program expenses of 4.2% less than budget for the fiscal year ending June 2018. • Grew business to 52% of market against a nationally-recognized competitor in less than a year by developing a consumer-focused marketing strategy and increasing programmatic services. • Introduced evidence-based practice to achieve ongoing Commission on Cancer accreditation. Received the CoC’s Outstanding Achievement Award in 2010 for a program that was a complete turnaround in just over a year. Re-accredited the program in both 2013 and 2016 with commendation under new standards.

• Developed and managed the marketing plan for 3 LTACH sites of a Fortune 500 hospital corporation, and provide sales and clinical training for a core group of 12 clinicians. • Achieved all revenue and admissions goals for the region in an interim position.

• Excelled at sales management of all infusion sales staff in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas, by leading the country as #1 sales region for both units and net revenue for two years running.

• In addition to leading all clinical, operational, and financial functions, crafted and proposed the business plan for CoramRx, a new specialty pharmacy venture, which is still in operation today. • Designed a new facility layout using 6-Sigma LEAN processes and evidence-based practice and implemented a $14M capital facility re-vamp resulting in a $22M expense savings.

• Interim leadership of nursing, rehab services, sales, and reimbursement activities for a large metropolitan Medicare-certified home health agency.

• Created an oncology ambulatory/home care program in conjunction with a new $ 27M cancer center, as well as assuming leadership of the home-based cardiac care program, for a major teaching hospital system. • Developed sales and marketing strategies focused on managed care payors that resulted in becoming the top specialty program in the state for oncology and cardiac home care.

*Infusion division acquired by OptionCare in June 2001• Achieved a turnaround of the Mid-Atlantic infusion and specialty pharmacy division of a Fortune 200 PBM taking it from 9th place to 1st place in the US. • Secured major specialty drug agreements with Astra-Zeneca, Bayer, and Baxter resulting in $65M growth for the organization.• Helped broker the sale of the infusion division to OptionCare, Inc. and led the transition team.
