This casual position has enabled me to develop the necessary skills to work effectively and efficiently under substantial pressure throughout the 2018, 2019 AFL seasons, cricket and various music events. I was able to further develop these skills as I underwent 2IC training for the management of registers at the beginning of the 2018 AFL finals series and have continued to work in this role over the 2019 season. This role comes with enormous responsibility, being in charge of all the money in the outlet and staff on the registers.

Business School Broadcasting assists students in developing technical media production skills and the soft skills of communication, teamwork and leadership that comes from creating educational media.Since joining the club I have assisted with audience management and presented as part of a student panel for a broadcast series called The COVID Economy. As a member of the newsletter team within the club, I have assisted with writing and editing. I am also involved in running the clubs social media.

This casual position enabled me to improve my multitasking skills. Working front of house, I was required to take orders from customers in store, over the phone and via Uber Eats. Additionally, I had to package orders for take-away or deliver in store orders to tables. I was also required to make coffees and various other hot drinks.These roles were all carried out alone, as only one front of house staff member was rostered per shift.

Independent Specialty Supermarket. Working on a part time basis, this role involved face to face interaction with customers and assisting management with other tasks required. The majority of customers were regulars, so it was important to establish positive, friendly relationships to retain their service.
