As Social Value Manager at Overbury, my role is to lead the Northern teams social value strategy, develop relationships with local communities, charities and educational systems to support them with real social issues. We want to leave a positive impact that will allow local communities and people to thrive. Working in several locations across the north of England from Cheshire through to the North East, requires strategic planning to ensure we are making a real social impact in local areas. I work closely with our clients to create a bespoke social value plan for their projects ensuring we meet their social value needs as well targeting the social issues within a particular area. I am at the forefront of projects to support the delivery teams to ensure we are adding real value to the communities we work within.
