At the age of 29, I struggled to make much income by selling my music, to a point that I didn't have enough money to pay any of my bills. So a trip to the US for a WordCamp is pretty much what changed my life. I've met some amazing people, who invested into me and hired me without me even knowing what WordPress was. Literally, I had no clue, yet they saw something in me. It was a rough ride in the beginning, I had to succeed, and that was my only focus at that time. Countless hours reading, testing, experimenting, learning how to create websites, and of course, interacting with people on a daily basis through pre-sales. I've made several mistakes along the way, which I embraced and allowed me to adopt a completely different mentality towards sales and customer satisfaction, which eventually, moved me up the ladder.For the last 5+ years, I was lucky enough to not only lead the department of Accounts & Sales, but also interact with talented people that made me a better person. I would never imagine myself leading a team when my journey started all those years back. I guess, interacting with people and driving them toward something great was always my hidden passion, and I feel so grateful I was given the opportunity to pursue this. Nowadays, I'm focused more on training staff, coaching them, getting my hands dirty with processes, Reports, KPIs, Quality assessments, onboarding, reviews, Socials, to even handling Disputes and payment Reviews through Stripe.
